Rocket Dog is as fast as a rocket (sort of). He is an active little guy who loves to play with toys, chase balls and just run around with the people he loves.

This two-and-a-half year old Papillon/ Chihuahua mix has a giant personality to offset his diminutive body. He has lived peaceably with cats and other dogs both large and small. He also loves children.

He is an extremely intelligent dog and can not only sit and give paw, he can speak, fetch and even twirl. He would love to continue his training – maybe even try agility.

Rocket Dog needs a family who can provide the high level of activity he craves – like jogging with him. He will also need someone willing to spend time walking him often. Rocket Dog would not be happy left alone all day.

If you think that this young, adorable guy could bring some activity and cheer into your house, please contact Save-A-Pet to arrange a visit. The right family will simply adore this spunky little guy!

Save-A-Pet is committed to saving animals without the killing. They take in animals from many sources and the volunteers work with dogs. While you’re at Save-a-Pet, make a donation if you can. The cats and dogs there will appreciate it.
