Pet of the Week: Scarlett is easy to love
Scarlett

Look into the beautiful, gentle brown eyes of this girl and try to figure out why she was left abandoned, wandering, and scavenging for food and safety. It’s almost impossible to think of a reason anyone would abandon this great dog.
This young hound, Scarlett, is an easy dog to love. She is sweet and affectionate; she is loving and calm; she is intelligent and eager to please; she is housebroken.
Scarlett has survived much in her short life. She was probably abandoned because she wasn’t much of a hunter. Actually, loud noises tend to scare her a bit -- probably because of guns she heard when she was younger.
She is definitely not a hunter; she’s much more of a lover. Whoever takes this darling girl into their home will have an attentive partner. Scarlett would love to show off her smarts and go to obedience school. She tries to please and picks up on cues quickly.
Scarlett loves people both young and old. She adores other dogs and loves to play.
She’s also the perfect size – around 45 pounds. Not too big, not too small but just right for any age. Too big to be easily scared by small children and too small to be a handful – she’s just right for everyone!
Ready for an easy dog – one that requires only love, petting, food and water? This is your girl!
If you would like to meet Scarlett, please call Pamela at: (847) 323-6411. She is spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative.
