Bandit and Brittany are a pair of beautiful bonded Silky Terriers. They are six years old, and these sweet dogs were used for most of their lives for breeding.

When dogs are used primarily for breeding, they are often not exposed to the kinder side of being a house pet. No one snuck them table scraps, nor did they get to sleep on a bed (doggy or human).

Now Bandit and Brittany are learning the joy of cuddling on a soft sofa and watching T.V. with a person petting them. They are just now learning how much fun it is to roam in a safe backyard.

Both dogs are very affectionate, with Bandit the more confident and outgoing of the two. But, although Brittany is a bit more reserved, she loves people of all ages (including kids) and loves to be carried around.

Both dogs are well mannered and quiet. They do need a patient family willing to help them continue to learn about the world. The best home would be a home where they will not be left alone all day.

What kind of a home should they go to? A home where they will get enough love to make up for six years of none. A home where they will be adored as they should be. A home where they might even be a bit spoiled.

They are crate trained and current on all vaccinations. They have been neutered and spayed.

The beautiful couple is in foster care with Placing Paws of Illinois. If you are interested in adopting them, please fill out an application at www.placingpawsrescue.org.

As is the case with all reputable animal rescue organizations, Placing Paws will carefully interview you and your family to make sure that neither you nor the dogs are disappointed by the match not working out. It is in the best interest of all parties that this be a perfect match! If you have questions, call 224-433-6537 or email placingpaws@yahoo.com.
