Auggie is a dog who has lost two owners. Not on purpose – far from it! His first owner died and the family didn’t want Auggie. In fact, they left him at a kill shelter (not exactly honoring the deceased’s memory).

Just before his time was up, Auggie was adopted. Unfortunately, Auggie’s new owner was recently diagnosed with cancer and can’t care for him.

Poor Auggie needs a loving family who will provide a loving home for him in his final years of life.

He’s a pretty easy dog to care for because he gets along with other dogs. He loves to go on walks and is gentle and laid-back.

Auggie is a handsome tri-colored boy with sweet eyes and wiry (non-allergic) hair. Visit him at Save-A-Pet and see if he’ll fit in your family. Auggie deserves a final, permanent home – finally!

Save-A-Pet is committed to saving animals without the killing. They take in animals from many sources and the volunteers work with dogs. While you’re at Save-a-Pet, make a donation if you can. The cats and dogs there will appreciate it.

Save-A-Pet is a not-for-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to finding loving, quality homes for each cat and dog in its care. Pets are sheltered indefinitely.
