Libertyville police blotter for Jan. 8, 2013

The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Libertyville Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.
Libertyville
BATTERY
• Nathan Hess, 32, 3119 Lebanon Ave., Zion, was charged Saturday, Dec. 22, with battery. The arrest followed an incident at Morgan’s Bar. A verbal argument turned physical when Hess allegedly punched another patron.
• Mathew Digiovanni, 21, 719 S. Spaulding Ave., Chicago, was charged Friday, Dec. 28, with battery. Digiovanni was identified as a person who allegedly struck an Austin’s Saloon & Eatery employee in the face with a closed fist. Employees told police that other individuals involved in the fight had already left in their vehicles. Digiovanni faces a Feb. 13 court date.
DRUGS
• Sayed Banifazl, 19, 534 E. Washington St., Round Lake Park, was charged Friday, Dec. 28, with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended, no front license plate and operating an uninsured vehicle. He faces a Jan. 11 court date.
• Dominick Deslauriers, 32, 304 Harding Ave., Libertyville, was charged Sunday, Dec. 30, with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane use and failure to wear a seat belt. He faces a Feb. 1 court date.
• Christopher Santi, 20, 207 Brookhill Road, Libertyville, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and faces a Jan. 16 court date.
ALCOHOL
• Megan Fanning, 20, 14840 Creekside Path, Green Oaks, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. She faces a Feb. 13 court date.
• Camille Simpson, 20, 1360 Minard Lane, Libertyville, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Her court date is Feb. 13.
• Olga Macias, 22, 25067 W. Rollins Road, Ingleside, was charged Sunday, Dec. 30, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08, improper lane use and operating an uninsured vehicle. She faces a Jan. 18 court date.
• Gabriel Gonzalez, 18, 2203 Carmel Blvd., Zion, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He faces a Jan. 11 court date.
• Miguel Luna, 30, 1415 Whimpole, Apt. 206, Mundelein, was charged Saturday, Dec. 29, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08, possession of a controlled substance, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane use. He was held for bond court, and his court date was not yet set.
• Oliver Brown III, 23, 12701 W. Crescent Ave., Waukegan, was charged Sunday, Dec. 30, with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle. He faces a Feb. 15 court date.~.
