Traffic backups expected in Libertyville
LIBERTYVILLE — Storm sewers are being installed today and tomorrow at the northwest quadrant of the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue/Illinois Route 21 and Buckley Road/Illinois Route 137.
The work will be completed by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
This phase of construction will encroach on the right-turn movement from southbound Milwaukee Avenue to westbound Buckley Road. With flagger assistance, motorists will be able to make the turn.
Due to construction vehicles getting in and out of the work area, major traffic backups are expected for southbound Milwaukee Avenue/Illinois Route 21 during these two days.
