Zavatsky, Diaz both complete basic
training

Marine Corps Private Jordan M. Zavatsky, son of Linda and Sam Zavatsky of Vernon Hills, graduated from the Marine Corps Basic Combat Engineer Course at Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune,N.C.

Zavatsky is a 2009 graduate of Vernon Hills High School and joined the Marine Corps in July 2011.

Marine Corps Pvt. Doel E. Diaz, son of Dora E. and Efrain Diaz of Mundelein, graduated from the Marine Corps Basic Combat Engineer Course at Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N. C.

Diaz is a 2010 graduate of Stevenson High School of Lincolnshire and joined the Marine Corps in July 2011.

Residents get awards for nurse service

Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital (NLFH) honored 10 nurses with the 2011 Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Nursing Excellence awards.

Among the winners were: Darnell Keesling of Mundelein, Ambulatory Administrative Support, was honored for evidence-based practice and research; Sharon Default of Mundelein, pediatrics, was honored for environmental health; and Maureen Hunt of Libertyville, Clinical Systems Manager, Information Technology, was honored for exemplary leadership in impacting patient care.

Carey is named sales leader

Lisa Cokefair, Branch Manager of Prudential Rubloff’s Libertyville office, announced Janet Knight-Carey as sales leader for April.

Kelli Ward and Sheila Brooks also had outstanding sales in April.
