On April 18, 2012, Josephinum Academy held its annual Spring Luncheon fundraiser at Michigan Shores Club in Wilmette, Illinois. 150 guests raised over $30,000 through a raffle and scholarship pledges for the young women of Josephinum. Guest speakers at the event were Josephinum Senior Tyra Walls and Josephinum parent Alex Pureco.

Founded in 1890, Josephinum Academy is a Catholic high school for young women located in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.
