Auditions & Opportunities

Citadel Theatre Company in Lake Forest announces general auditions for its 2012-13 season, which includes “Other People’s Money,” “Little Women,” “God of Carnage” and “Enchanted April.” Auditions will be held from noon-4 p.m. June 16 at Citadel Theater, 825 S. Waukegan Road, Lake Forest; and noon-4 p.m. June 17 at Theatre 773, 1225 W. Belmont, Chicago. All performances will be held in Lake Forest. Seeking to cast men and women to play roles from 18-65. Visitors can view five buildings of historic interest including the 1837 Caspar Ott log house, Lake County’s oldest standing building, which celebrates its 175th anniversary this year. Other buildings include a farm house, one-room schoolhouse, carriage house and visitor center. Permanent exhibit: “Deerfield History” from the first settlers through the 1950s.  Admission is free; donations are welcomed.
