Tiger Woods wannabes, ages 3 through adults, are invited to compete in Rink Side’s first Mini Masters Glow Golf Tournament from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Gurnee Mills Mall, 6170 Grand Ave., Gurnee.

“You don’t have to preregister,” said Rich Kuzmeski, sales manager. “We’re just charging $5 per person. If you wear a Chicago Wolves, Chicago Blackhawks or a Maulers shirt, admission’s only $4.” (The Maulers is Rink Side’s youth hockey league.)

An official will keep track of each mini golfer’s score.

“Everybody gets a prize just for participating, and there’s cool prizes for each age group,” Kuzmeski said. The awards will be given at 4 p.m.

The event celebrates the overhauling of the ice rink, which is scheduled to be finished by June 9. If it is completed, visitors can skate; if not, they can watch as lines and logos are painted on the new ice.
