Lake County Art League honors show winners
The Lake County Art League Spring Show winners this year included: Lee Radtke of Lake Zurich, (from left), for “Gethsemane Garden Center” (oil), 1st Place; Alice Schank of Spring Grove for “In Vogue” (oil), Honorable Mention; Skip Wiese of Waukegan for “Lady Bugs” (intaglio), 3rd Place; Michelle Jenson of Gurnee for “No Wonder He Was So Happy” (oil), Best of Show; and Linda Kollacks of Libertyville for “Maine Seascape” (oil), 2nd Place. The awards were presented by Judith Joseph of Northbrook, reviewer and judge, on May 21 at the Jack Benny Center for the Arts in Waukegan. More than 75 attended the League’s annual Spring Show, which featured 41 works by of the League’s artists.
