Performer juggles stories in Vernon Hills

Some lucky kids will become instant stage stars when Chris Fascione presents Juggling Funny Stories from 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Aspen Drive Library, 701 Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.
“I’ll be bringing literature to life, acting out library books for a family audience,” Fascione said. “Every show I’ve ever done has included some volunteer guest actors, usually three at a time, to help with some of the characters.”
Because Fascione doesn’t rehearse with his cast, “Anything can happen,” he said.
Things will be up in the air at the beginning and end of the show. That’s when the popular family entertainer shows that he is as adept at juggling as he is at bringing stories to life.
“It’s a fun visual piece of the performance that I’ve been doing for years,” Fascione said. He added that he loves performing for young people, “because they’re so honest.”
