LIBERTYVILLE — A Libertyville woman picking up her child at Adler Elementary School on Milwaukee Avenue left her vehicle for 10 minutes and returned to find the window smashed and her purse missing.
Libertyville police reported the woman went to the school about 8 p.m. Jan. 15 to pick up her child and was gone for just 10 minutes. She had locked the vehicle’s doors and left her purse on the front passenger seat. Someone smashed that window, grabbed the purse and ran.
The purse was described as a LexiWynn leather-and-fabric valued at $200. It contained a black-and-white Coach wallet valued at $150, prescription sunglasses, various credit cards, a checkbook and a driver’s license.
