Libertyville Dog Days of Summer makes a splash

LIBERTYVILLE -- Libertyville held the opening ceremonies of the Dog Days of Summer, with local dogs jumping for the title of “Libertyville’s Big Air Dog.”
Dozens of dogs showed up to compete. Mayor Terry Weppler threw out the ceremonial first ball. Children and others lined up to watch the annual event.
